This planet of ours, this humans of ours.

My planet, your planet, our planet
It is called the blue planet, so we are in a water planet. Some scientists say that we come from the sea, evolution little by little, century by century gave as legs, arms, made us come out of the water, then at last we stood up, on two feet, using our hands as tools for living. I ask myself, why then the fish remained, why the whales? why some came only half the way like the allygators?
On the other hand many say we come directly from the monkeys, yes, that is logical because we are very alike, aren't we?
Some religions point to the fact that we are unique on the animal reign because we think, that we were created after everything was already here.
Let us think a while, what do you believe? Hence we will never know for sure, we have to have that thing we call Faith. Believe in something we can not see, or prove.
So, I have my doubts, you see, I love water, swiming, diving, sailing. I look at the mirror and it gives me back an image that could well be that of some kind of monkey. I think, therefore I am not a commun animal.
The question remains. Where and what do I come from?
Only one thing is beyond doubt. Some kind of energy or some supreme being has to be the creator of such wonder as the human beign, not forgetting nature in all its forms. Not only our body is awesome, a complicated machine, of course factible to error or damage, our sentiments, our feelings, precious intangible and invisible, our incredible intelect, our memory, hate, love, sadness, happyness, the pure innocence of children, criminal instints, spirit of sacrefice, joy,
and yes, my forgetting so many things. We humans are something, and yet we are not satisfied, we want to know more, to love more, to fight more.
Do we value friendship? do we not feel insignificant in some way? are we satisfied with the love we get? do we really see and understand the wonder of just being?
I wake up every morning hoping to do something to make this world better, when I go to bed, thankful for been here I have to ask myself forgiveness for not doing what I planed, it is so difficult to act like an individual, we never get to do anything worthwhile . We are "The human race" we are not just you, he, she or me, we are WE with capital letters and we have to live and act as WE.
Awesome......the Universe. Awesome....the Planet Earth. Awesome....Us.
Let us be so, awesome do not undervalue ourselves, Let us keep working on it.
Let us be US be WE.
